September Reflections
Reading Time: 8 Minutes
The year is nearly finished, Autumn will be here soon.
At this point you may find yourself taking inventory of what came to pass, what you accomplished, what you didn’t accomplish, what you wanted, what you didn’t want, what you have & what you lack.
September offers us a period where deep change can take place because not only is a new season here, but the year is nearing its end, so an urgency may be present.
Creation shows off in these upcoming months with new foods, new energy, new colors, & in ourselves we find new thoughts, new desires & reminders.
A natural shedding process begins.
“Nature shows us how necessary it is to let things go in order for restoration, renewal & rebirth to take place.”
The seasonal shift of autumn in particular has been seen as an important time to cleanse & purify the body since ancient times.
Going into what is commonly a period where susceptibility to illness rises, it’s necessary to strengthen the body as a whole. A beautiful time to "go inside”, nurture your environment, & nurture yourself physically, mentally & spiritually.
“This season requires, softening, grace, acceptance, clarity, less resistance.”
It’s time to allow a recalibration & create a fostering environment for your body to shift with ease into change now & in the future. A time to learn, listen, reflect on what has come to pass & refocus on what you want to complete before the year ends.
Below are some September Reflections to usher in this new season.
I created these to help you take inventory, acknowledge your achievements, state your desires, invite in transparency in & move forward.
There are many ways you can utilize these reflections, please make it your own, as that is what will be most beneficial to you.
If you can, take part in this exercise when you can be fully present, silence & put away your phone. Create an environment where you feel most at peace.
Here are three ideas to get you started:
Write these down in a journal & revisit them as the months wear on & adjust if needed.
Write these down & keep them in present view to serve as a reminder.
Use this as a clearing exercise, if you feel the need to get things off your chest & vent. Write it all down, then burn it, or type it in a document on your phone/computer & delete when finished.
Decide what method is best for you & feel free to share with me if you like! I would love to see what you come up with & acknowledge the progress in your journey.

Reflections for September
What did you learn?
What did you uncover?
What did you achieve?
What did you accept?
What do you want? ( be honest here)
We often underestimate how much & how often we need to vent, constructively complain, cry, reflect; but we tend to overestimate how much those we can confide in, can take, advise or help. That is when recognition of the importance of inner reflection becomes apparent.
No one will ever fully understand or know your experience, your thoughts, feelings because you were uniquely created & are one of a kind, so it is important to become in tune with yourself.
After all, you know your inner truth better than anyone, instead of ignoring allow it to be a catalyst for growth.
As effortlessly as the trees shed leaves, I pray you are able to shed what no longer serves you, steals your time, happiness, & compromises the full expression of your beautiful existence.
Wishing you ongoing wellbeing & managed health,
